# What to Expect After Purchasing PPC

## What to Expect After Purchasing PPC

### Initial Setup and Kickoff

After purchasing PPC services, the first step is completing our PPC Questionnaire. This questionnaire helps our team better understand your practice, the services you would like to promote both now and in the future, your target locations, and any additional information that will help us develop an advertising strategy aligned with your business goals.

If you haven't received your questionnaire, please reach out to your CSM for the link. You can find their contact information here: <https://help.doctorlogic.com/docs/contact-support/the-customer-success-manager>

Once your questionnaire has been submitted, our PPC team will work closely with them throughout the onboarding process. Your Customer Success Manager will serve as your primary point of contact and will provide updates regarding campaign setup, launch timing, and ongoing performance.

PPC campaigns are built after the website goes live. This ensures that advertising traffic is directed to a fully functional website that is ready to convert visitors into leads and patients.

Once your website is live and all campaign setup requirements have been completed, our team will build your custom PPC campaign, including keyword research, ad creation, targeting setup, conversion tracking, and campaign configuration.

To ensure proper budget pacing and campaign performance, new PPC campaigns are launched on either the 1st or 15th of each month. Launching on these scheduled dates allows us to effectively manage advertising budgets and maximize campaign performance throughout the month.

Throughout this process, your Customer Success Manager will serve as your primary point of contact, keeping you informed of important milestones, campaign progress, and your campaign launch date. If you need assistance identifying your Customer Success Manager, you can find their contact information here: <https://help.doctorlogic.com/docs/contact-support/the-customer-success-manager>

### Campaign Build and Launch

Once we have the information needed, our team will create a custom PPC campaign based on your practice type, advertising budget, services, and target locations.

This process includes:

* Writing ads for your selected services
* Performing keyword research and selecting relevant keywords
* Setting geographic targeting
* Building the campaign structure
* Integrating call tracking and conversion tracking
* Configuring campaign settings and budgets
* Preparing the campaign for launch

Once setup is complete and all required items are in place, your campaign will be scheduled for launch.

PPC campaigns will go live on the 1st and/or the 15th of each month. Our goal is to launch your PPC campaigns within the first 30 days of your website going live, provided all required onboarding information has been received and campaign setup is complete. Launching campaigns on these scheduled dates helps ensure proper budget management and allows for consistent campaign monitoring and optimization from the start.

When your campaign goes live, you will receive a PPC Go Live Email from your Customer Success Manager. This email will include:

* A target location map showing where your ads will appear
* An ad preview so you can review your live advertisements
* The primary campaign focus and services being promoted
* A reminder of your monthly advertising budget & management fee
* A PPC Welcome Guide outlining what to expect during the first month of your campaign

This information provides a clear overview of your campaign strategy and helps set expectations as your ads begin generating traffic and leads.

### Early Performance: Weeks 1–4

During the first few weeks, Google begins collecting performance data and learning which searches, ads, and targeting settings are driving the best results. It is normal for lead volume and performance to fluctuate during this initial period.

While this data is being collected, our team closely monitors your campaigns to make sure ads are running properly, traffic is relevant, and early performance trends are reviewed.

### Ongoing Optimization & Management

PPC is not a one-time setup. After launch, our team continues to manage and optimize your campaigns on an ongoing basis.

Our ongoing campaign management and optimization efforts may include:

* Reviewing overall account performance
* Conducting ongoing keyword research and management, including adding new keyword opportunities and removing underperforming keywords
* Adjusting bids to improve visibility and campaign performance
* Monitoring ad spend, budget pacing, and campaign delivery throughout the month to ensure your budget is utilized efficiently while maximizing lead opportunities.
* Reviewing search terms to identify new opportunities and eliminate irrelevant keywords
* Creating, testing, and updating ad copy to improve engagement and conversions
* Creating, reviewing, and recommending landing pages to ensure each campaign directs visitors to the most relevant content to improve user experience, increase conversions, and support overall campaign performance.
* Identifying and addressing landing page tracking issues
* Updating campaigns to align with new Google Ad features, platform updates, and best practices
* Managing account verification requirements and maintaining compliance with Google Ad policies
* Monitoring for and acting upon any ad disapprovals
* Analyzing competitor activity with impression share metrics to identify competitive opportunities.

The goal of these ongoing optimization efforts is to improve campaign performance over time by increasing lead quality, reducing wasted spend, maximizing return on investment, and helping your budget work more efficiently.

### Transparent Reporting

You will have access to PPC reporting that shows how your campaigns are performing. This includes visibility into leads, calls, conversions, campaign activity, and budget usage.

Your PPC report will typically be created and shared approximately 30 days after your campaign launches. This allows sufficient time for data collection and performance analysis. Once your report has been shared, you will have access to real-time campaign data that updates automatically.

Your Customer Success Manager can help walk through the report with you and explain what the data means, so you have a clear understanding of campaign performance without needing to interpret everything on your own.

For additional information about report access, reporting metrics, conversion tracking, and how to interpret your PPC performance data, please visit our [Reporting & Performance Reviews ](https://help.doctorlogic.com/docs/add-ons/paid-search-ppc/reporting-and-performance-reviews)guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.doctorlogic.com/docs/add-ons/paid-search-ppc/what-to-expect-after-purchasing-ppc.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
