New Content FAQs

I REALLY LIKE MY CURRENT CONTENT. WILL YOU REUSE IT?

If you love your current site and own your content, we're happy to review it and carry over as much as we can. We write our sites specifically for SEO and best performance online. It may happen that while you love your content, it does not perform well for you. In that case, we would recommend you letting us rewrite your site to give you the best chance for success.

IS MY CONTENT GOING TO BE ON SOMEONE ELSE'S SITE?

We choose our procedure names and organize page sections based on best performing keywords and patient searches. Because we know how patients are searching, you may see similar themes repeated on our sites. The content itself is written specific to your practice and market.

CAN I HAVE A SAY IN WHAT IS WRITTEN?

Absolutely. Before beginning your content, you will have a kickoff call with your PM. This will give us insight into what you find important regarding your content. Additionally, we may come back to you with suggestions or follow-up questions. At this time, you should feel free to provide any input or specifications for your content.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE MY PROCEDURE LIST?

On the kickoff call, we will go over the procedures you perform. Our content team will review and incorporate additional procedures based on your current site if needed and discuss these during the call.

WHAT IF I AM UNDER OR OVER MY CONTRACTED PROCEDURE LIMIT?

You are not required to use all of your contracted procedures during your site build if you don't want to.

Should you go over your procedure count, our team will work to see if anything may be combined or moved around to accommodate your procedure limit while maintaining SEO standards. If we cannot get your list at or under your contracted limit, you have the option to pay for additional procedures.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE MY PROCEDURE NAMES?

We base our procedure names off of what performs best in search. Often, we find it best to label your pages after the procedure title rather than the technology name. This is because patients are often not familiar with specific types of technology. See below for some examples:

  • HALO Laser - We could call this Laser Skin Resurfacing

  • SkinPen - We would call this Microneedling or Microneedling with PRP

  • TruSculpt - We would call this Nonsurgical Body Contouring

There are exceptions. For example, CoolSculpting does a lot of direct to consumer marketing and patients are very familiar with it, so that is one procedure where we do use the technology name.

I PERFORM X PROCEDURE THAT IS UNIQUE TO ME. HOW WILL YOU WRITE THIS?

If you perform a very unique procedure or have a specific technique our team is not familiar with, we will thoroughly review that page on your current site. We may also ask that you provide specifics for us to incorporate onto the page.

WHAT IF I FEEL CONTENT IS MISSING?

We provide a base of content based on our experience with your specialty and the top questions we know patients are asking. That said, you may want to provide additional content based on your experience.

Our on-page editing feature easily allows for you to add to or edit any procedure page on your site.

WHAT IF I FEEL CONTENT IS FACTUALLY INACCURATE?

Our writers have many years of writing medical content and have had many of the procedures themselves. While we always strive to write factual, medically accurate content, you may perform a procedure a different way than we've described.

If you feel we've made a factual error, please let us know so we can correct it on your site.

WHAT IF I HAVE MORE STAFF MEMBERS THAN MY CONTRACTED LIMIT?

If you have more staff members than your contracted limit, we can still create pages for them, however, you will need to provide brief bios for them.
