Vendor Exclusivity Policy

We will not run campaigns concurrently with another PPC vendor for the same domain or for the same business entity with multiple websites.

Our Policy

We will not run campaigns concurrently with another PPC vendor for the same domain or the same business entity with multiple websites. If a customer is subscribed to our Managed PPC service, DoctorLogic must be the exclusive vendor for managing Google AdWords.

There are a few key reasons why we implemented this policy:

Serving ads from multiple Google Ads accounts violates Google's policies

The applicable section of Google AdWords policy is called . It states:

The following is not allowed: Using the Google Network to gain an unfair traffic advantage over other participants in the auction. Affiliates that advertise on AdWords against the applicable affiliate program rules, promoting the same or similar content from multiple accounts on the same or similar queries, trying to show more than one ad at a time for your business, app, or site.

This policy is broader and more ambiguous than the former policy (from 2015), called the Double-serving policy. We've included a link to the archived version of the policy. A few items from this version of the policy which are worth highlighting:

To protect the value and diversity of the ads people see on Google, we generally discourage advertisers from running ads for the same or similar businesses across multiple accounts triggered by the same or similar keywords. This policy, known as "double serving", prevents multiple ads from the same or commonly-owned company from appearing on the same search results page.

There are multiple online examples of Google suspending one or more advertisers' accounts for violating its broad Unfair Advantage policy. For this reason, we have determined that it is in the best interest of our customers and our relationship with Google to implement and uphold our Exclusivity Policy.

Serving ads from multiple Google AdWords accounts to a single domain complicates call tracking and reporting.

DoctorLogic works hard to provide accurate and transparent reporting to our customers. Adding a second (or third) source of Google AdWords to a single site can make it very difficult (if not impossible) to track performance and conversions. Since we know performance and campaign ROI are very important to our customers, we will not operate alongside another vendor managing Google AdWords.

It's important to note that Google AdWords has a history of evolving their policy. We regularly review all policies (internal and external like Google) to make sure we are making the best decisions for our customers. If you have any questions about any policy, please .
