# Promotions vs. Specials

## *Promotions offer more control and more impact.*

The Specials product offering, although beneficial, requires customers to collaborate with a DoctorLogic staff member for the entirety of the process. While it is comparable to Promotions in terms of its core use cases, we believe that the DIY features and enhanced capabilities of Promotions make it a more robust product offering. Our intention with Promotions is to give customers more autonomy over the design and publication process, allowing them to create and schedule promotions as they see fit.
